Kate will teach you self hypnosis as part of the session and it can     be a simple yet powerful tool for self – transformation.

Learning self-hypnosis is something everyone can do, as it is a natural state that we all slip in and out of frequently through out each day.

I don’t know if you have ever been driving on the motorway and missed your turning – daydreaming – that is a form of trance or have you ever been so completely absorbed in a book and someone has been talking to you and you haven’t heard a word they have said – another form of trance.

Any of these experiences are examples of everyday trances, so the experience of different mind states is an everyday occurrence.

Self-hypnosis is the process of directing yourself into a deep state of relaxation allowing you to "program" your unconscious mind with suggestions to help you experience fewer stress symptoms, sleep better, stop smoking, or to achieve other goals or improvements in your life time.  Everything about ourselves, our habits, our emotions and our behaviours are stored in the subconscious mind. It therefore follows that for us to make changes we need to work on that level.

All that we do is stored subconsciously but often the conscious mind interferes and creates negative reactions and behaviours. If we think in a negative way or we expect negative results that is what we will get. The subconscious mind is always very cooperative - giving us exactly what we think.

You can use self-hypnosis to make specific changes in your life for:

  • Learning a language or subjects for an exam.
  • Performing well at an interview.
  • Public speaking or a presentation in your job.
  • Motivation and building self confidence
  • Improve athletic performance

Self-hypnosis is a wonderful tool that is perfectly safe, rewarding, often more effective alternative to tranquillizers or painkillers and a life long asset.
